:: Rain. Twenty four hours of torrential downpour. I can’t wait for the aftermath of wildflowers that these gloomy, ominous, heavy skies will bring. Isn’t that just like life?
:: This hardworking husband of mine trenched over 300 yards in the cold mist and rain to run backup power lines for our solar setup. No man has ever looked cuter holding a shovel and wearing a wet plastic tarp. rawwr.
:: Downtime. Reading, writing, playing with splashes of light on the floor, fake napping.
:: peekaboo baby belly. I can’t zip my fashionable snow pants, making them even more fashionable.
:: Cloud gazing.
:: The Manzanita flowers are blossoming! Petite, mauve, porcelain-like bells of perfection. The kids and I have plans to harvest the berries this spring just for fun. We can’t plant a garden yet, but now that we’ve looked closely at our land, we’ve discovered that there’s one already here.
